MSAHT Annual Fundraising Dinner

Mississippians Against Human Trafficking's (MSAHT) will host its annual fundraiser dinner at The Gin in Nesbit on Monday, October 23rd to kick off a two day event with the spotlight on human trafficking in North Mississippi. Join us to hear a Mississippi trafficking survivor share her story.

Dinner will be catered North Mississippi’s own MasterChef contestant Kendal Adair.

Tuesday, October 24th

Human Trafficking Learning and Action Network

Starting at 8:30 am Tuesday October 24th, MSAHT will host a day-long event at the Gale Center in Hernando to discuss the growing problem of human trafficking in North Mississippi.

Tentative schedule:

• Lindsey Simmons, Board President, Mississippians Against Human Trafficking

• Sandy Middleton, Executive Director from the Center for Violence Prevention

• Jamie Himes, President/CEO of Southern Christian Services.

• Mark Stovall, Oxford Treatment Center

• Xavier Johnson, Human Trafficking Navigator, Office Against Interpersonal Violence (OAIV) Mississippi Department of Health

  Lunch provided.

  After lunch listen as our panel of experts provide valuable insight into the realities of human trafficking in DeSoto County and other north Mississippi communities.

  Attendees will be encouraged to write down questions throughout the day and join the conversation at the end of the day for a question and answer session.
